Jim Savitt NightCast Records new guitarist, I must say when I first heard the first track of his album ‘SoHo’ my first thought was-wow Norman Brown, after a few seconds I thought ‘Joyce Cooling’ and then toward the end it was…oh no no wait, ‘Craig T. Cooper’. In summary an artist who can combine the best of these three artists (although leaning more towards Joyce Cooling) is definitely worth listening to. (Trust me he is that good). You will find the same beautiful acoustic tracks through out the rest of this album.

Hear & Now is Jim's new 2001 release from NightCast Records.  In addition to Jim's electric and acoustic guitar playing, this 12 song CD also features smooth jazz sax superstar David Mann.
